5 Chicago-land Domestic Violence Advocacy Agencies have joined forces as a coalition and formed Run Domestic Violence Out of Town to raise funds & awareness for survivors.
By participating in this collaborative campaign, runners have the opportunity to raise both money and awareness for Chicago area domestic violence service providers, whose services span the greater metropolitan area. Chicago’s Run DV Out of Town benefits The Network: Advocating Against DV, Family Rescue, Arab American Family Services, Connections for Abused Women & Children, and Center for Advancing Domestic Peace.
Our runners sign up to run the Hoka One One 5K, Half Marathon, or The Bank of America Chicago Marathon, that takes place in October, which is also National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
We are here to make a difference. We are here to help end domestic violence. We thank you for your support.
