Time Until Chicago Marathon
Run DV Out of Town
Our runners sign up to run The Bank of America Chicago Marathon, the Hoka One One Chicago Half-Marathon, and the Hoka One One 5k. The marathon takes place on October 9, during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The half marathon and 5k both occur on September 25.
By participating in this collaborative campaign, runners have the opportunity to raise both money and awareness for Chicago area domestic violence service providers. Chicago’s Run DV Out of Town benefits Arab American Family Services, the Center for Advancing Domestic Peace, Family, Rescue, The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence, and SHALVA. Together, they offer shelter, 24-hour crisis hotlines, legal advocacy, counseling, and violence prevention programs.
We have lots of team perks, including training discounts at Chicago Endurance Sports/Fleet Feet, virtual team fun runs, and fundraising incentives for our runners and donors.
We are working to support survivors and end domestic violence. We greatly appreciate your support.
We offer graphics and text to help you fundraise!
